Forum Introduction

Tsinghua PBCSF Chief Economist Forum, hosted by the School of Finance at Tsinghua PBCSF and organized by the Center for International Finance and Economics Research (CIFER) of the School of Finance at Tsinghua PBCSF, is held in Beijing every spring. The theme always starts with “Focusing on the Global Perspective and Promoting Multi - dimensional Exchanges” as the starting point, inviting Chief Economists and Leading Scholars from well - known global institutions to jointly offer suggestions on the development trends and policy directions of the Chinese and global economies. It has attracted the attention and discussions of global professional institutions and industry insiders. The forum was founded in 2019 and has successfully held five sessions. It is currently the Most Concerned Chief Economist Forum and an important research and exchange hub for China and the world's macro - economic policies.The following is the grand occasion of previous forums.

The “Tsinghua PBCSF Chief Economist Forum” project aims to become the Most Influential in the World non - official and non - profit financial professional think - tank platform. Hold a PhD degree in economics, finance, computer science, journalism, or communication from a domestic or international university;
Demonstrate academic and policy research capabilities in international trade and finance, geo-economics, industrial economics, macroeconomics, artificial intelligence, etc.;
For applicants with a PhD in journalism or communication: solid knowledge of finance and economics, responsible for translating and promoting the Center’s academic outputs, proficient in academic content visualization, and familiar with CapCut/PR or other visualization tools;
PhD degree obtained within 2 years (inclusive); age 35 or below (inclusive);
Priority will be given to candidates with outstanding academic publications, adopted or approved policy reports, or experience in national-level research projects.
Hold a PhD degree in economics, finance, or management from a domestic or international university;
Demonstrate academic and policy research capabilities in green finance, green transition, green industrialization, power grid transformation, etc., and ability to participate in collaborative research with governments, think tanks, and industry partners;
PhD degree obtained within 2 years (inclusive); age 35 or below (inclusive);
Priority will be given to candidates with outstanding academic publications, adopted or approved policy reports, or experience in national-level research projects.
Hold a PhD degree in economics, finance, or computer science from a domestic or international university;
Demonstrate academic and policy research capabilities in cross-border digital payment systems, blockchain, artificial intelligence, e-CNY, international monetary system, RMB internationalization, cross-border capital flow management, international financial risk monitoring, etc.;
PhD degree obtained within 2 years (inclusive); age 35 or below (inclusive);
Priority will be given to candidates with outstanding academic publications, adopted or approved policy reports, or experience in national-level research projects.
